Tape-Seal is a clear acrylic gel that blocks annoying paint bleed. Simply brush along the tapes edge prior to painting.
Four steps to great results!
TAPE- Tape off areas you would like to protect from paint like trim and ceilings. Taped areas must be clean and free of loose paint. Make sure the tape firmly adheres to the surface.
SEAL- Using a brush, apply Tape-Seal to the edge of the tape that will come in contact with the new paint color, this will fill the voids at the tapes edge to help block paint bleed.
PAINT- Once Tape-Seal is dry, approximately 15 minutes, apply your new paint according to the manufacturer. Apply paint in two thin coats and give your paint time to dry before removing tape.
PEEL- When all painted areas are dry, carefully remove the tape by pulling back on itself and away from the painted edge. Pulling tape too quickly or straight up can cause the fresh paint to peel away from the wall.

One 8oz. jar of Tape-Seal will seal approximately 5 rolls of painters masking tape, depending on the surface texture. Typically an average bedroom will use 1 to 1-1/2 rolls of tape, this should give you a rough estimate on how much you will need for your project.
